Lowering Insurance Costs

The Problem
Families and small businesses in Iberville and Assumption Parishes are being crushed by skyrocketing insurance premiums. Homeowners are paying more for less coverage, seniors on fixed incomes are struggling to stay in their homes, and small businesses are forced to pass costs on to customers or shut their doors. Years of overregulation, lawsuit abuse, and a lack of competition have driven insurers out of Louisiana, leaving families with fewer options and higher prices.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad Daigle will fight to lower insurance costs by opening the market to more insurers, cutting unnecessary mandates, and supporting reforms that reduce lawsuit abuse. He will work closely with the Insurance Commissioner to pass legislation that restores competition, protects consumers, and makes Louisiana affordable again.

Public Safety & Law Enforcement

The Issue
Polls show that keeping families safe is the top concern for voters in District 60. Too many communities are seeing repeat offenders back on the street, and families don’t feel as safe as they once did.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad Daigle stands firmly with law enforcement. He supports policies that hold criminals accountable, strengthen penalties for violent offenders, and give police and sheriffs the resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. Brad believes being “soft on crime” puts the wrong people first—and he will always put law-abiding families first.

Infrastructure & Accountability

The Problem
For years, taxpayers in District 60 have watched road and drainage projects drag on without results. Delays cost families time, money, and safety, while contractors face little accountability.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad Daigle will demand accountability from state agencies and contractors. He supports tying payments to performance, enforcing deadlines, and requiring transparency on how taxpayer dollars are spent. Roads should get finished, bridges should be safe, and drainage projects should work—period.

Flood Protection & Disaster Response

The Challenge
Flooding is a constant threat in Iberville and Assumption Parishes. Aging drainage systems, insufficient pump capacity, and bureaucratic delays have left neighborhoods vulnerable during heavy rains and hurricanes.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad will fight to modernize drainage systems, improve levees and pump stations, and fast-track flood mitigation projects. He supports cutting red tape so disaster recovery funds reach families faster and local governments can act before the next storm—not after.

Jobs, Agriculture & the Local Economy

The Issue
Farmers, fishermen, and small businesses are the backbone of District 60’s economy, yet they face increasing costs, labor shortages, and growing regulatory pressure.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad Daigle will protect farmers and fishermen from overregulation, support working waterfronts, and fight for policies that help small businesses grow and compete. Economic development must protect jobs, respect local industries, and keep decision-making close to home.

Government Transparency & Accountability

The Problem
Voters are tired of waste, backroom deals, and government that answers to itself instead of the people.

Brad’s Commitment
Brad Daigle believes every tax dollar should be spent responsibly and transparently. He supports open government, clear reporting on state spending, and holding agencies accountable when they fail to deliver results. Leadership means listening first, telling the truth, and earning the public’s trust.
